The High Court in Johannesburg has set a trial date for the case against alleged cartel member Katiso ‘KT’Molefe for October.
The trial is set to run from October 26 to December 4.
Molefe and his co-accused face several charges, including three murders.
The charges include conspiracy to commit murder and murder for the alleged killings of popular music producer and club DJ Oupa Sefoka, commonly known as Dj Sumbody, the alleged murder of Vereeniging-based Engineer Armand Swart and Hector Buthelezi, known as Dj Vintos.
They also face unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition charges,
Last month, the state said forensic evidence linked guns used to kill DJ Sumbody, DJ Vintos, Swart and Don Tindleni.
