The Butterworth Regional Court within the Eastern Cape has sentenced a 31-year-extinct rapist, Ayanda Sotyato, to 25 years’ disclose imprisonment for raping two girls aged 41 and 46 years extinct in separate incidents in Dutywa in 2022.  
Police spokesperson, Siphokazi Mawisa, says the victims were taken to Thuthuzela Care Centre for DNA analysis, and the implications linked the rapist to each instances.  
“The suspect, Ayanda Sotyato, who’s 31 years extinct, turned into arrested on the 16 of September 2024 and charged in reference to each incidents.
