Baby Wounded, One Person Killed In Westbury Shooting – Xavier Radio Ug

A baby was wounded, and one person was killed, during a shooting in Westbury, Johannesburg, on Thursday night.
Police say three other people were wounded in the same incident.
According to the police, a group of unknown suspects opened fire at the victims who were standing on the corner of Larkspur Court and Jacaranda Court.
Gauteng police spokesperson, Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, says a fifteen-month-old baby is amongst the five victims who were injured during a shooting in Westbury on Thursday.
“It is reported that the victims were at the corner of Larkspur Court and Jacaranda Court when attacked by an unknown number of suspects. All five victims sustained gunshot wounds, and one of them, an adult female, was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. The motive of the shooting is unknown at this stage, and police are investigating murder and four counts of attempted murder,” says Nevhuhulwi.
