KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi has lodged an utility for an interdict in opposition to the owner of a security firm in connection with alleged defamatory statements.
According to court docket papers, Calvin Mathibeli accused Mkhwanazi of being immoral, occupied with unlawful killings, and being captured by deepest pursuits.
Mathibeli allegedly made these statements in a social media put up after police visited his firm, Calvin Safety and dwelling in a nationwide police action in December and February.
Mkhwanazi is asking the court docket to train the utterances flawed and defamatory.
