Linda Gxasheka Continues Testimony After Commission’s Orders – Xavier Radio Ug

Suspended Ekurhuleni Human Resources head Linda Gxasheka has continued to testify after the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry ordered her to do so.
It rejected Gxasheka’s counsel’s request for a postponement.
Gxasheka’s attorney, Emmah Magula, argued they were not able to continue because they received the documents late.
This is how Commission Chairperson Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga made the ruling in Pretoria.
“Ms. Magula, the only voluminous document is the tender document, on my understanding. Yes. And Mr Chaskalson says that that’s been with you and Mrs. Gxasheka from Wednesday already. Yes. So, insofar as that document is concerned, I would not understand the request at all.”
